Thomas More Mechelen in Belgium recently hosted the second Sustainability Bootcamp of the Erasmus+ Time2Act@SD project—an innovative international initiative designed to inspire real behavioral change toward sustainability.
Around 40 teachers, students, and staff from Thomas More Mechelen (Belgium), Politécnico de Santarém (Portugal), UClan Cyprus (Cyprus), Gazi University (Turkey), Rosto Solidário (Portugal), Galileo (Italy), and Learnmera (Finland) came together in this Bootcamp to exchange insights and explore sustainable practices.
🔹 Day 1: After a warm welcome from Thomas More partners and a project presentation, students from the institution organized a cultural visit to the city of Mechelen.
🔹 Day 2: Participants engaged in hands-on activities exploring sustainability. The day kicked off with SDGs in Practice, including canoeing on the Dijle River and a visit to the Museum Dossin Kazerne. In the afternoon, various interactive sustainability activities related to the SDGs were held, such as: Create your own bottle opener, Green-screen challenge: make your own SDG film, Watt with water, and Getting started.
