TIME2ACT@SD Gaps related to environmental sustainability literacy

Results

According to a survey involving 716 higher education students as part of the Erasmus+ project TIME2ACT@SD (Time to act through sustainable experiences for higher education students), there are six main gaps related to environmental sustainability literacy:

  • Importance of improving water quality by reducing pollution;
  • How to increase water use efficiency;
  • How to promote health and well-being through increased use of clean energy transportation;
  • How to increase the efficient use of natural resources;
  • How to reduce waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling, and reuse;
  • Improving education on climate change.
